I coloured this with a lush green forest in my mind, I wanted to also create some camoflouge with snake blending in with the background and foreground, while contrasted with the tree.
I coloured while listeneing to these podcasts from the MGS team at [link] , some of them are quite interesting, like listening to the design team that made the MGS4 logo etc.
Aaron Ks pencilworks are pretty amazing, oozing with style, maybe I will colour them again sometime.
