I love eating meat. Nothing beats a succulent medium rare steak. Global warming is big in the news at the moment what with the copenhagen meeting. For a long time I had bought into the hype, the fearmongering images of doomsday type scenarios, the theory that humankind was to blame. A couple of years ago I remember seeing a climate change related advert on tv, a cartoon polar bear is happy walking along minding his own business. Suddenly the ice begins to melt until he is stranded on a tiny block. He then starts sinking and it cuts to a slogan about how we need to change. I have a dilemma. My cousin has finished his GCSEs (exams for 16 year olds in england) and has decided he wants to go on to do a degree in fine art. My problem is, I know a lot of people who have done art or art related degrees, and have ended up not getting anything out of it. Im fairly sure he only wants to do it for the sake of doing something. The creative education system in my eyes is pretty damn flawed.
